Jon Meyer is co-founder and Managing Member of Life Science Strategy Group, LLC. For more than 15 years, Mr. Meyer has managed contract research service engagements across all phases of preclinical and clinical development. He has also consulted extensively to pharmaceutical, drug delivery and biotechnology clients in areas including dermatology, autoimmune disease, oncology, diabetes, pain management, and infectious disease. He has served as the day–to–day project lead on numerous strategic engagements including opportunity assessments, competitive intelligence, pricing and reimbursement analyses, forecasting, competitive benchmarking, positioning and messaging strategy and clinical trial design and analysis. Mr. Meyer has served as the engagement lead on numerous strategy development and due diligence support engagements in the preclinical and clinical services space for leading contract research organizations (CROs). Prior to LSSG, Mr. Meyer was a Director at Navigant Consulting and Managing Consultant at Front Line Strategic Consulting. Mr. Meyer was also a research scientist in the department of inflammatory disease at Roche Bioscience for 6 years and holds masters degrees in clinical science and business administration.

Ken Smith is co-founder and Managing Member of Life Science Strategy Group, LLC with over 15 years of life science consulting experience specializing in strategy development, opportunity assessments, new product planning, licensing and partnering and market analytics. Life Science Strategy clients served include pharmaceutical, biotechnology, diagnostic, drug discovery, medical device companies and government and non-profit organizations. He has consulted in numerous therapeutic areas including CNS, neurodegenerative and cardiovascular disease, pain management, urology and women’s health, ophthalmology and metabolic disease. Mr. Smith has worked in the life science industry for over 30 years as a scientist, an industry executive and an experienced consultant. Prior to LSSG, Mr. Smith was a Managing Director at Navigant Consulting and was a Partner at Front Line Strategic Consulting. Prior to Front Line Strategic Consulting, Mr. Smith consulted for Emergent Consulting and was Vice President of Marketing and Sales and General Manager at GSI Lumonics. Life Sciences Division. Earlier in his career, Mr. Smith was Marketing Manager and Product Manager for Bio–Rad Laboratories, Research Associate at Collagen Biomedical and Research Manager at U.C. Davis Medical Sciences Laboratories. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration.

Frank Cavallo is Vice President of Business Development at Life Science Strategy Group and brings more than 30 years of experience in pharmaceutical and the healthcare industry marketing and sales. Prior to joining LSSG, he was an Associate Director in the Business Development Group at Navigant Consulting where he was responsible for generating new business opportunities for the Life Science Strategy Practice and Director of Business Development at Front Line Strategic Consulting. He began his career as a Sales Representative with the Ayerst Laboratories Division of American Home Products (Wyeth-Ayerst Pharmaceuticals) where he held several key positions, including Sales Trainer, District Sales Manager, Sales Training Manager, and Assistant Director for Training and Development. Upon leaving Wyeth-Ayerst, he joined the McGraw-Hill Healthcare Group as an Account Executive, a position in which he was responsible for developing medical education and training programs for pharmaceutical and medical device companies. He held a similar position with Whole Systems International and was Vice President of Marketing and Sales at The Medi Cine Group and Adelphi Medi Cine, Omnicom Group Companies. Frank served in the United States Army as a Commissioned Officer in the Corps of Engineers and is a graduate of the University of Toronto and has a Masters Certificate in Business from A.B. Freeman School of Business, Tulane University.

Dr. Wade Sunada is a Managing Consultant with Life Science Strategy Group (LSSG) and has over 11 years of life sciences strategy consulting experience. Dr. Sunada´s functional expertise includes pre- and post-launch product planning and strategy, medical device technology assessments, opportunity assessments, licensing and partnering strategy, reimbursement strategy, and business and strategic planning. Dr. Sunada leads the Oncology practice for LSSG and has led numerous oncology projects including oncology program development, opportunity assessments, patient chart reviews, treatment algorithm and patient flow, and KOL research. His other therapeutic area expertise includes medical devices, neurology, inflammatory diseases, infectious diseases, vaccines, ophthalmology, cardiovascular and clinical technologies. Prior to LSSG, Dr. Sunada was a Managing Consultant with Navigant Consulting’s Life Science practice. Dr. Sunada obtained his Ph.D. from UC–Berkeley and UC–San Francisco in Bioengineering.

Lucy McNamara works as a Senior Analyst for Life Science Strategy Group, LLC (LSSG). Ms. McNamara works with CRO clients and the LSSG team to perform in-depth analysis and make strategic recommendations for market research projects in a variety of therapeutic areas. Ms. Yao is an Analyst with the Life Science Strategy Group focused on primary and secondary research and analytical assessments for the biopharmaceutical, medical device, drug discovery, diagnostic and contract research markets.
