CRO met expectations.
Date: May 2, 2014
Service Description
Site selection in collaboration with the sponsor, contracts, study start up, monitoring, study closure
What Went Well
Good knowledge of the disease area and investigators. Good relationship with investigators, good monitoring activities
What Could Be Improved
As often happens, some problems rose with the administrative offices of the single centers involved, long contract negotiations, too long, that required an enrollment prolongation.
Lessons Learned from the Experience
Good selection of investigators. good therapeutic area knowledge. Good relationship with secondary investigators. The problem was related to the enrollment period that we were forced to extend, but the CRO responded very professionally without a significant extra budget requested.
