Service Description
Huntingdon conducted a combination toxicity study in rats with an NME and an existing drug. An initial sigle dose PK study was also conducted to determine edequate exposure/analytical verification etc.
What Went Well
Huntingdon went above and beyond and continue to do so, by troubleshooting issues with us, and working well with my company's japanese cohorts. I was and continue to be very impressed with their willingness to work so well with us. There were issues in the first study (not related to Huntingdon) which they reconducted for free, and have started on the definitive study which is ongoing.
What Could Be Improved
A minor suggestion might be better integration between Huntingdon sub divisions in Japan, UK and the US. Having said that, they have managed to do a superlative job with this multinational sponsor setup.
Lessons Learned from the Experience
Huntingdon was extraordinary in all respects, and I was very impressed to learn about their capabilities, integrity and scientific rigor. Very thorough and easy to work with CRO. Specifically I would mention Gary Hoffman as an excellent Study Director, as well as their other scientists.
