What Went Well

PRA had presence in the countries the trial was conducted and had therapeutic expertise.

What Could Be Improved

Initial team was not effective requiring changing out of key personnel when project was well behind schedule

Lessons Learned from the Experience

Specific individual team members are the key to success. Once those individuals are identified, the contract award should be contingent on having those individuals on the project. Low level (CRA) turnover is expected but at CTM and PM level, stability throughout project is important.
