What Could Be Improved

Quintiles could have improved their communications and transparency on topics in lieu of generating excuses to cover lapses in management. Yes, challenges surrounded meeting start-up timelines to get supplies to sites. Inappropriate and inept individuals were assigned to the study and later terminated. No adequate back-up coverage was provided and in place.

Lessons Learned from the Experience

Lessons learned is in the future, more day-to-day operational oversight is required with Quintiles to ensure mis-steps do not occur.
