Service Description

It was a standard Seg II repro study in rabbits. Pregnant rabbits are dosed with drug and fetal abnormalities are assessed. We did the formulation and bioanalysis and TK analysis in-house

What Went Well

The study was competently conducted , The samples arrived on time and the report was also delivered on time. The study director provided information in a timely manner.

What Could Be Improved

The study director was not always able to respond quickly to requests. For example, the draft contributing scientist reports were not reviewed in a timely manner. This is likely due to the large number of studied the typical CRO study director is running.

Lessons Learned from the Experience

The study was routine and was competently carried out. There are not many opportunities to think outside the box on this type of study, nor do I expect this from a CRO. I have worked with CRL over a number of years, and I respect their capabilities.
