Service Description

The CRO was contracted to run full service toxicology studies. The services included dosing, in-life observations, clinical pathology, histopathology, Bioanalytical, dose solution analysis, TK interpretation and reporting.

What Went Well

WIL Research provided quality scientific input into study design and study interpretation. The staff is highly trained and highly knowledgeable. Report deadline were usually met projected timelines.

What Could Be Improved

The Bioanalytical support for the toxicology studies could have been better. The equipment and SOPs could have been more up to days. Data turnaround could have been quicker.

Lessons Learned from the Experience

We learned that the CRO could be trusted with additional studies and that the quality of the work (except for Bioanalytical) was of good quality. We had a hard to interpret histopath finding and WIL recommended a peer review pathologist who help us define the change appropriately. We will work with this CRO again.
